Precautions

After 3 hours after surgery, drink water and eat as usual. (However, you should avoid drinking and smoking for at least a month.)
Please take the discharge medication well. Antibiotics, painkillers, and stomach medications are included. If you can't control the pain even after taking the medicine, you can take additional painkillers. (Please stop taking them and contact the hospital if any side effects such as urticaria occur after taking them.)
Face washing is possible after removing the thread and splint.
Please refrain from pressing on the surgical site when sleeping. The shape can change. Making the head higher than the heart is good for swelling.
Please apply cold pack for 3 days and warm pack from the 4th day. (Most bleeding and swelling ->cold pack / alleviating swelling and bruises -> warm pack)
The bruise is temporary, so please take care of it while using sunscreen to prevent pigmentation
Avoid sauna, excessive exercise for a month, and take a light walk to relieve swelling.
Avoid applying pressure to the face for a month, irritating or traumatizing the surgical site (bleeding and hematoma may occur)
Face sensation, pain, and shape asymmetry may be seen for 3-6 months after surgery, but it will gradually improve.

Post-surgery visit schedule

Day 2-3: Remove cotton, gauze and disinfect surgical sites
Day 7-8 : Remove nose splints and external threadbare
Day 14-15 : Remove nasal seams

Self-disinfecting

After the operation, do it twice a day in the morning and evening until the thread is removed.
Use a cotton swab on the inside of the nose and the area with thread, wipe it with saline solution, and apply the prescribed ointment thinly.

Bleeding

A small amount of blood may flow out of your nose for about two weeks after surgery.
Wipe the dripping lightly, apply clean gauze, or apply a cold compress.
If the bright red bleeding persists, please contact the hospital.
If symptoms such as abnormal redness, swelling, and burning are constantly felt at the nose surgery site, contact the hospital and visit the hospital for confirmation.
